Atal Tinkering Lab
Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) across the nation have embraced the Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) initiative as a cornerstone of fostering innovation and creativity among students. These labs, established under the aegis of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) by the Government of India, serve as dynamic spaces where students can explore, experiment, and innovate. With state-of-the-art equipment and resources at their disposal, students are encouraged to think critically, problem-solve, and collaborate on projects that address real-world challenges.
In line with the vision of AIM, the ATLs in Kendriya Vidyalayas aim to nurture a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship from an early age. By providing students with hands-on experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields, these labs empower them to become future-ready and equipped with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Through experiential learning and mentorship opportunities, students engage in projects ranging from robotics and electronics to sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. The ATLs in Kendriya Vidyalayas serve as hubs of creativity and innovation, inspiring students to dream big and pursue their passions. With a focus on practical learning and project-based education, these labs play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and changemakers.
At PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Lakhanpur, students have actively participated in the ATL initiatives, showcasing their creativity and ingenuity through projects such as the Fire Manager, Bluetooth Car, IoT Shed House, and Home Automation using IoT. Their participation in regional science exhibitions held at KV Bantalab and KV Miran Sahib has further highlighted the school’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence among its students. Through these projects, students not only demonstrate their technical prowess but also highlight the transformative impact of ATLs in nurturing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the school community.
