PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Lakhanpur, established on September 5, 1981, stands as an icon of education in the tranquil surroundings of Lakhanpur, just 2 kilometers from the city along Basoli Road in District Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. Over the last four decades, The school has been a cornerstone of academic excellence, offering classes I to XII in both humanities and science streams. Under the dynamic leadership of Principal Mr. Rajesh Dwivedi,the school is on a transformational journey towards becoming a Smart School under the PM Shri Yojana in 2023. With state-of-the-art facilities including two computer labs, Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs, a Language Lab, Atal Tinkering Lab and a Junior Science Lab, the PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Lakhanpur is paving the way for new learning experiences.
