KendriyaVidyalayaLakhanpur, came into existence on 5th September 1981. The Vidyalaya is situated at a distance of 2 Kms from Lakhanpur on Basoli Road (District Kathua) J & K. The school has its own building and the classes are being run from I to XII, having two streams (Humanities and Science). The building houses, two Computer labs in addition to Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Junior Science lab.
